with you, and then has you certify under penalty of law that your answers are correct. She answered no and then certified her answer.
I'm guessing you aren't a Global Entry member. When I did my GE interview, the customs agent made it very clear that GE members do not get any warnings, and that you should declare everything. "When in doubt, declare it" was the clear message.
