I blame the business for bad customer service. A better business would alert its
customers of the risk. I would ream Delta for it as well. That is how you get better customer service take it public. Guess what? Now this probably won't happen again.

You're lack of sympathy is disappointing considering this totally looks like an honest mistake. You can still beelive she should pay the fine and have sympathy for her situation.
