Absoutely not. Question: Do you think the pro-gay crowd (and when I say...

"pro-gay" crowd, I mean those who actively claim that to actively participate in homosexual behavior is 100% moral and "ok"), do you think that that group of people is, in today's America, being accepting of conservative opinions and values and the people who hold them?  Yes, this is a football thread but there are many on CougarBoard who think that BYU will not be accepted into a P5 conference simply because of the teachings of the LDS church about practicing/participating in homosexuality.  They say our Honor Code is merely bigotry and hatred.  However, BYU recently clarified their Honor Code by saying that someone can feel they are "gay" and STILL be admitted to BYU as long as they don't participate in the gay lifestyle, ie, actively participate in homosexual activities / gay sex.  This positon makes it abundantly clear that the LDS church accepts all "people" but refuses to accept "all" choices/values/activities.  It is ironic that most of the hatred today on this specific issue is not generated by the LDS church or those who hold similar values.
