So, to be clear. Someone who identifies as gay can enroll at BYU as long
as they abstain from having gay sex, or a public show of romantic emotion, or having a same sex marriage. Other than that they are free to be gay.

Heterosexuals, although prohibited from out of wedlock sex, can engage in all the public romantic activities they wish, short of fornication, get married and have all the sex they want. In fact they are encouraged to have lots of sex.

You can certainly see where the “gays” are pushing their lifestyle on the heterosexual community.
