I get loving BYU. I grew up basically living at LES, I attended and graduated, and will be a loyal fan forever.

But having spent the greater part of my life outside of Utah, from a national perspective BYU is nowhere on the radar.

Yes, we are nationally known, and the networks/conferences know what we bring to the table. It isn't a pandora's box with BYU.

The problem is we have been underperforming for nearly a decade now and in a society that cares about "what have you done for me lately" we are falling increasingly behind. UCF may certainly dud it this year, but I still maintain that if someone were to expand today UCF would get the nod over BYU.
