What you're not understanding is that todays MWC is different than the old MWC. It no longer includes Utah or TCU and on top of that, outside of BSU they are mired in obscurity with their TV package.

You obviously also do not understand the reality of todays college football landscape. G5 teams and conferences are all dying a slow death and will continue to do so as the P5 conferences continue to pull away in every possible category.

Part of me wants BYU to go crawling back to the MWC so guys like you can see first hand how your desire to return killed the program and lost you half your fan base. You think kids are gravitating to Utah more now. That reality would grow exponentially if BYU went back to the MWC. We would essentially be saying, we can't compete with Utah and the like and now we've cemented ourselves to becoming Utah St for the foreseeable future. Is that really worth it to you so you can play for a meaningless conference championship in a meaningless conference?
