You are agreeing with a logical fallacy

That anyone has won their way into P5 inclusion. P5 was never and won't ever be about winning programs. It is about which schools can and do bring in money, eyes, and market share.

Now, if BYU was so bad that it had no money, no eyes, and no market share then you would be right. But that is not the case.
