In fairness, I've been to dozens of BYU away games and the majority of them have
class act fans. Nebraska, Ole Miss, Florida St, Michigan St, Notre Dame, Michigan, Wisconsin, Texas, Oklahoma were all awesome with great fans and no issues. But part of that is because those programs have none or very little history with us. They don't play us often and I think that fans tend to go out of their way to welcome visiting fans they really don't have a big history with.
Attending games at Utah, USU, BSU, TCU, UCLA, Washington, Arizona are a different story. Those teams have a lot of history with us. Those are different, more hostile experiences because of that.
Having said that, I still think many Ute fans are vile scum regardless of the history excuse
