If you want to argue that it’s gods system and that it’s a good system, that’s totally fair.
But that’s a totally different argument.
In order to have an honest discussion about gender in the church, you have to start by at least agreeing on the base facts. Then you can argue about whether those facts are good, divine, or whatever.
But the facts have to shared and, in this case, aren’t really disputable. Men hold authority over women in the church. Not the other way around. That’s just a fact.
From there, you can talk about whether that’s good or bad, needs to change or not, whether it’s gods will or not, etc.
