Maybe. I’m sure more would actually show up if the team was better, but

as someone who watched a ton of games in the student section in the past decade, I can attest that the VAST majority of BYU students care very little about BYU sports, or sports in general. Many who do like sports come from out of state and cheer for BYU as their second team. Going to BYU games is something most do as a social event or date, but only if there isn’t studying to be done.
