When the team is exciting and playing well, students show up and cheer loudly. When I was at the 2015 Boise state game, we had just had a super exciting win at Nebraska and tanner mangum was dominating headlines. The students were as loud as I have ever heard them. Even the 2016 Mississippi state game was fairly loud, and that year we weren’t fantastic, but we were competitive in every game.

Winning consistently solves most problems. If you want students and fans to cheer, you need to give them something to cheer and yell about. People don’t forget Watching BYU lose at home to UMASS readily.
