Your original post to start this thread explains tailgating at BYU

Tailgating will never be a great experience at BYU. For one, we don't drink alcohol. Two, we have little kids involved in all kinds of sports on Saturday morning. Old people are attending their grand kids' events, and "Saturday is a special day, it's the day we get ready for Sunday." I don't get to do all my shopping and yard work on Sunday.
