I disagree that limited parking is a problem.
First, the people choosing to live there are apparently ok with the current situation.

Second, parking is not free, so if the market demanded more included parking, then the places with limited parking wouldn’t make money.

Third, if it’s on street parking is over subscribed, then a price can be assigned to the parking that will get the right amount of parking. Markets setting prices is the best option. We certainly don’t want the government demanding what level of inventory that supermarkets carry, so why do governments make rules about parking inventory.
