Winning the Pac12 championship isn’t easy. How many times has BYU done it? The point is at least Utah gets a chance to try. And if the best smack you can do is ‘Utah lost in the Pac12 championship to a team that absolutely destroyed BYU that year’, that pretty much sums up what happens when you lose 8 straight to your rivals.
In other words, as a smart level headed sports fan, I would rather lose in the P12 championship game and lose in the Holiday bowl then go 6-6 and win in Idaho. But you do you.
