But aside from the typical pre-season Blue-Goggled outlook I don't see how this team is significantly better than the 2016 team, unless you are using the "Kalani-is-always-better-than-Bronco" logic so prevalent on this forum lately.
Or even better than the 2015 team, which with a healthy Taysom probably would have won 10-11 games and earned a national ranking.
Or for that matter better than the 2014 team, which was undefeated and ranked prior to Taysom going down in the USU game. With a healthy Taysom that team would have won at least 9 games.
Most non-BYU outlets are predicting a 6-7 win season for this team, which sounds about right. Add in a couple of upsets and you could conceivably end up with 9 wins. But that's not going to get a national ranking.
