Ill give it a go

QB - Utah

I can see an argument that both teams can make about QB.  The way I see it Huntly has done a better job vs better competition.  I think Willson will be good but coming off an injury that has lingered past spring.  Until I see Willson have velocity back on his passes Im going to go with Huntly.

RB - Utah

This is a pretty clear advantage for Utah.  Moss is one of the better RB's in the nation.  I have seen him as high as #1 RB draft prospect from different publications (I don't think he is #1 but some scouts do). At worst he is a top 10-15 RB.  BYU doesn't have a clear cut #1 RB but they have a hand full of players that should be at least OK.  I think when all is said and done for BYU this year the best RB on the team will be Katoa.

WR - Utah

The top three WR from Utah all bring back more production than any WR from BYU last year.  The argument for Romeny making this closer could be valid since he is a talented WR.  The same argument can be made for Utah with Enis

TE - BYU

This is a clear advantage for BYU.  Bushman is a top 15-20 TE in the country and has proven more than Utah's TE's.  Utahs TE may be better blockers but I don't think there is an argument that doesn't involve drinking the cool aid that currently you can make that say Utah has the advantage.

OL - BYU

I will give BYU the edge here because of what is known however I think it is a very close call.  BYU has a some lineman that have great potential and if they continue to develop they will likely be NFL guys but non of them are there yet.  Utah does have a good track record developing lineman and have three guys with significant experience back.

DT - Utah

I think this is a clear advantage as well.  Foto is getting preseason All-American consideration from some publications and most publications rate Utah in the top 10 in the country along the DL and a lot of that has to do with the talent in the middle.  Tonga from BYU is talented but not as good as Foto and Penisini is better than any second DT BYU can put out there and could be argued that he is better than Tonga.

DE - Utah

Another clear advantage for Utah.  Anae is good pass rusher and is great in setting the edge with 15.5 TFL.  Rushing the passer was one of BYU's weaknesses last year and they loose their best pass rusher from last year.

LB - Even

Zane Anderson and Kaufusi are both proven players that I think should be pretty good.  Bernard and Bowen are both fairly proven as well (Bowen you have to go back to his time at Penn St). I think BYU will be better vs the pass in coverage and Utah will be better vs the run and applying pressure.  I think both teams have unproven potential after that.  You can make an argument for ether team that is pretty compelling so I will leave this one as even.

CB - Utah

I think the CB's at BYU have improved a ton over the last 4 years they are a good unit this year.  Utah just happens to have quite possibly the best secondary they have ever had.

S - Utah

This is closer than CB but the Blackmon move to S is the reason Utah gets the edge here.  Lindy has Blackmon as the third best safety in the nation for next year.

K - BYU

BYU by a large margin.  BYU looks to have a few good options and I don't think Utah has anyone yet that knows how to kick a football.

P - Utah

Until Utah doesn't have an elite punter Im going to give them an edge.  Giving Tom Hacket a chance was one of the best recruiting decisions that Utah has ever made.  They were the first to give Pro Kick from Austrailia a chance and because of that the loyalty from Pro Kick sends there best Punter over when Utah needs one.

KR/PR - Utah

As long as Covey is healthy then the advantage is Utah.
