We see this exercise every year. It's interesting, however...
all that really matters is who wins the game.

Prognosticators are saying this year's Utah team will be very good. The trajectory of BYU's program appears, finally, to be good, but that doesn't say anything about how good of a team they'll be and what their record will be.

I'm soooo sick of the losing streak to the Utes. However, given the fact that the Utes are projected to be a top 20, maybe a top 15 or better, team, and BYU is just projected to be improved a bit from last year, it's hard to pick against the dreaded team in Red. A BYU victory would certainly be considered an upset, at the very least a surprise.

So until BYU is able to beat the Utes, I'm not going to pay much attention to these comparisons by skill group. My assumption is that all the Utes groups are better than BYUs, at least until the Boys in Blue are able to to win a game.
