9 years ago, college football changed. We didn't catch a ride and neither did
the AAC. Since then, both BYU and the AAC have been slowly puttering along while strides have been made by the P5's to further distance themselves from us. So, you can't even compare what we had in the MWC to what we have now.
Also, just because we move to the AAC doesn't mean we get to be UCF. In all likelihood, instead of loses to UMass and NIU we would have just lost to SMU and Tulsa. If we win a lot, whether in the AAC or in independance, it will be exciting.
