Certainly could if none of those 11 have good seasons. It's not unheard of for
BYU opponents to underperform in the year they play BYU. BYU got little credit for recent wins like Michigan State.
If BYU's P5 opponents struggle to make bowl games, BYU's strength of schedule will take a hit, and it will be easy enough to hand-wave them out of the NY6.
