aren't using other forms of birth control doing the exact same thing?

I don't have a strong stance either way, but seems to me that if one were to take a position that one should NEVER have the surgery under any circumstance, couldn't one argue that you would also feel the need to NEVER use any form of birth control, ever? In other words, we would see many mothers with 10-30+ kids?

Assume dad is 40 and mom is 35ish. They are done having kids. A vs is the least difficult way to get permanent birth
