How many kids does one have before a vasectomy is "ok" in your opinion?

Is 3 sufficient? Just checking to make sure that I'm still righteous.

I have fewer than four kids. Sometimes my children can be hard on my wife. Having kids is not easy. I've had to step in at times so my wife can get back to a happier place. What would you tell me in regard to getting a vasectomy. I will be 35 or so by the time we could have another kid.

Assume dad is 40 and mom is 35ish. They are done having kids. A vs is the least difficult way to get permanent birth
