but keep in mind my other notes. The conference itself did not have meetings with BYU. I'm going to find out exactly how it came down, but I suspect it was an AD from a school in the Pac-10 that knew TH well and could have a casual conversation and throw out "what ifs?" They could have found out all they needed to move on in such a casual 1:1 conversation. It doesn't undercut my source's claim that every school wanted to add BYU with Utah. He was involved in those meetings with all of the conference members and had 1:1s with them.
