So their membership in the church is contingent on receiving a monetary benefit? More money already flows into those

countries than is contributed by them anyway. Why should they have a beef with the church spending money on football? The church exists to bless the lives of members spiritually. In hardships, the church pitches in to help them with their temporal circumstance, but that isn't the primary function of the church.
