and if the parent is actively trying to get them to behave then most people are also more tolerant because we've all had kids and we all have gone through it. But if the parent is just not doing anything about it then they are the problem not the other people and of course they made a choice to take a small child on a plane filled with other people. We were smart enough not to do that when our kids were small, we just didn't go places with our kids that required flying until they were old enough that good behavior could be expected of them.

In otherwords we were responsible parents that gave for thought to the situation and how it might affect other people besides just ourselves. That seems to be lost on many younger people these days who think the world revolves around them.
