I agree with you. I have a couple of properties--one hadn't been a rental and I
feel a little guilty converting it to a rental. Another had been a run down rental, and I feel good about fixing it up to be more consistent with the neighborhood it is in. Now I'm in a town where my dollar goes farther, and I'm tempted to buy a few more properties, but do feel guilty jumping on the very limited inventory available when many young families are trying to get into their first home. So basically, I have mixed feelings about this.
