Been there - 40 years ago. But like most young couples - we worked and saved hard. Finally after being married for after 6 years - we bought a small home. Only 1800 sq ft. Guess what - instead of feeling like we had to have a bigger and bigger house through the years - we are still in the same house. We paid off the home several years ago. We haven't bought a 2nd home - and probably won't.
