They’re just churning out so many and so many of them are new and have no experience and they get put in roles that they
aren’t ready for. It’s scary. I remember how little I knew as a third year medical student, and yet that was still one more year of training than an NP. Yet these new NPs are tossed into jobs where they are doing the work of a third year resident.

I have nothing against Mid levels in general, and a lot of them are really good at what they do. The system often puts the wrong people in wrong roles, though. It’s only going to get worse, IMO.
