For all of us older than the Millenials, we created this. We need to own it
somewhat and help find solutions. We gave our kids tablets, ipods, phones as toddlers, allowed them to become completely absorbed into a life of social media, vlogging, etc., allowed every system that challenges them to stop challenging them so it didn't hurt their feelings and now we're shocked that they are struggling to deal with adult life? Color me not surprised. I am now questioning so many decisions I made as a parent and seeing how my young adult kids are struggling. I'm not sure we're going to be able to fix it until these young generations decide they need to fix it, but we should at least own some of it.

Social media is super rough on them. They are always connected, so don't have down time from typical drama.
