POTD from me because my wife and I have been having this exact conversation.

Now realizing some mistakes we made, we are trying to cram a lifetime of teaching into the final couple years of high school for our teenagers and yeah, not going so well.

Mainly around the value of hard work. Our kids have had so many things handed to them that they think that is what life is like.
