Kids have more demanding and tougher schedules when it comes to
extracurricular activities. Kid's schedules are way more packed than they used to be and for a lot of them it is the parents driving them and sometimes for the wrong reasons.
Why do you think world records keep getting crushed by 15 year olds? They are more committed and sports are more demanding than ever.
If you want to sit on this website in the middle of the day drinking soda and label a whole generation as soft go ahead. I'm not sure we give them enough credit for the demands on their time that we have mostly created.
