The reason to take SDSU is to get CA recruiting. I don’t think it’s enough.

If the PAC explodes both UCLA and USC are going to the B1G. So will Stanford, UW, and UO.

Western teams you might to take at that point are:

CAL (I think the B1G would take them)
OSU
WSU
ASU
AZ
UNLV?

All of which will need Southern California recruiting. Does SDSU provides that? Maybe. It’s the same reason Houston is a possibility. If they think they can get that area recruiting wise without them I don’t think they’re worth taking. Same with Houston.

I do think SDSU is a better football program than BSU at this point and as part of an A5 conference can pass up UCLA on the football field.
