Stanford has been dumping athletic programs recently. The exact motivation?? Not sure, but it certainly doesn't enhance their prestige as an Athletic Partner....and the B12 is an athletic conference, not an academics conference.

I’m not a Pac-12 fan, but they are the conference of Olympic Sport champions. Especially if you count Olympic champions
