If the Big Ten takes just 2 and the Big XII only takes 4, no chance Utah gets in

Assume the two are USC and Oregon; the Big XII is unlikely to look at Utah if they are trying to maximize dollars, prestige, basketball, or anything really.

UCLA and Washington would have to be the top 2 targets. Colorado at least adds a new market; Stanford adds a lot of prestige; Arizona schools add basketball/Phoenix. Utah doesn't add a market (at least some of the eyeballs tuning in to watch Utah are also already watching BYU hoping they lose), prestige, or basketball.
