We'll see. Impossible to tell now, but there are a lot of people less confident
than you that the Pac12 will get a good deal. It's a bad time for them to be so terrible at football. They don't have good numbers to negotiate with. This isn't the old Pac 10 that had Chip Kelly's Oregon teams, Pete Carrols USC teams, Sark at UW, Neuheisel at UCLA, etc. The product the Pac12 is putting out right now is bad. They have a couple of years to turn it around and maybe they hit a home run with the next SC coach and Cristobal is actually able to break Oregon into the elite without their normal head scratching loss in the middle of the year. Looks like Chip might finally be paying off at UCLA. They need USC, UCLA, UW, Oregon, and Stanford to be good to maximize that deal and right now those teams aren't generating national interest (Oregon and UCLA are a bit this year).

Meanwhile, folks are saying the New Big 12 won't lose anything in it's next deal, sans OU/TX. My understanding is that the Big 12 is paying out around $10M more per school, after everything including bowls and tier 3 are paid out? Why would anyone think the next contract will be so much better for the Pac 12? The product has gotten worse since 2011.
