Perhaps, but read The System. It was a mandate from Crowton and the AD
to upgrade the talent at all costs, and Crowton set the tone for how to discuss the HC. Which is why Bronco was still hired as head coach — the Board of Trustees wouldn't have trusted him if he wasn't arguing against Crowton's approach. Bronco felt it was the wrong way to go all along was the sense I got.
