is no big deal. I still believe in forgiveness. And by that, I don't mean losing your job immediately. Unless there is more to the story, which there very well could be, then this is ridiculous. A person losing their job, livelihood, and a potentially tarnished reputation for reading the words off the cuff of somebody else? Go ahead and think the person deserves to be let go all you want. I completely disagree.
When you make a 'mistake' I hope your employer treats you with the same empathy. You'll be good. You'll just find another job.
