In the US? Yes.

What do you consider "poor"?

You can be obese while living on a really really small income. I'm not saying it's ideal. I'm not saying I'd want to do it. And I'm not saying it compares in any way to...say...the poor in Africa.

I think you can be poor even if you aren't starving.
