Everyone looks at the world through comparison. Most of the people on this thread nodding their heads about how well off
the poor are in America still spend most of their time each day using capitalism to try and better their financial situation.
It seems like the argument is: “Poor 21st century Americans should be grateful for how well they have it. In the meantime, I’ll spend most of my waking hours pursuing more and more wealth to move up the ladder. And if the poor complain, they’re just jealous.”
