“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal” doesn’t mean we are all equal in abilities or potential to create wealth, but that people should have equal opportunity, equal in the sight of the law.

Even in communist countries you see that there are some that are wealthier. Russian oligarchs are much more wealthy than most in that system. It’s never going to be equally divided because people have different ideas. Some people have a personality to innovate and create, while others have a personality to work for someone else and not be taking risks to create their own company. That means some will figure out how to make more money, even in communist/socialist systems. It is wrong to thing otherwise.
