ignorant, to use your term. If we don't do something about the gap, there's going to be violence and upheaval. It's inevitable. The gap is what people notice and care about.

That's great that everyone is better off with the incredible amount of wealth we've created. What isn't clear is whether the super rich are entitled to a much bigger portion of that wealth, and whether they should feel secure in the idea that everyone else is just going to let that slide.
