It’s a cop out to compare the poor in the US with the poor in a 3d world country
It’s something rich people do to make themselves feel better about opposing social safety nets.
Oh good, our poor aren’t as poor as the poor in Bangladesh. Well I should hope not…we’re the richest nation in the history of mankind.
