I think we live in a world where so many parents don't know how to tell their children "no". It's easier to just say yes

and hand them a phone. We have some friends who have kids that can barely function with out a phone or iPad. We went to a BYU game with some friends and the dad brought an iPad for his 1st grade daughter to watch. I was super annoyed because then my kids wanted to watch the iPad. Kids should learn that it's ok to be bored sometimes and not depend on YouTube
