My brother is a pediatric neurologist. He worked regular pediatric neurology for
awhile, then became a critical-care pediatric neurologist for about six years, where he was working with very acute brain injuries. He then went back to regular pediatric neurology after those six years, and was astonished at the difference in the cases he was seeing. Kids were now coming in using prescriptions previously basically used for PTSD war survivors. Astonishing changes in child brain behavior over those six years. And it tracks directly with the growth of social media.
