Allowing your kid an Instagram account at that age is handing him a loaded gun.
There is so much evidence now of the destructive nature of social media that you have to be a completely negligent and irresponsible parent to allow your kid on it at that age.
My kids won’t have social media until they are 18. I get that I’m a little extreme in the opposite direction, but the “benefits” of social media are just so massively outweighed by the drawbacks that I won’t allow it.
