I get my kids phones in 9th grade.until then they send texts or calls to mom’s
Or dad’s phone.
I also found my oldest would tell me that everyone had a phone. When you started asking, it was the exception and not the rule. Kids will do anything for a personal gaming device. I teach the 6th and 7th grade Sunday school class and only about half have a cell phone yet.
