BYU has the most tournament appearances without making a final four. So that
means that no frequently tournament appearing team struggles more than BYU at tournament play. I just think BYU puts together success oriented teams that do well in the regular season and with half their games at home, and don’t do well in the tournament, unless they have a national player of the year.
I’m not even trying to be critical. It’s a decades long trend, and it’s what BYU is for a number of reasons.
