Man. Where to begin on that. The plea form Big Bus is sounding mighty desperate.
Yeah, I mean I guess every team has the ability to make a run at the playoffs.
Utah has never, not once, been in the discussion of playoffs at the end of the year. In their best playoff era yearh-end ranking, they weren't even a single digit. They haven't ended the year as a single digit ranking since joining the PAC.
And no team from the PAC12 has made the playoffs for the past 6 years.
So making a case that one of those teams "could" make the playoffs is just telling a media partner your value to them is about as much as an MWC team. Heck, even the AAC put a team in the playoffs in the last couple of years. How is it that they can't make a better claim than yewts or the PAC?
And in OR and WA, there is a market but the yewts coming as a package deal is the PROBLEM, not an enhancement. They're one of the conference leaches that is making it so hard for the PAC to get a deal. Me, (prime) Michael Joran and Lebron James would make a "pretty good" 3-on-3 basketball team, but the cameras would be showing up IN SPITE of me. If it were OR, WA, USC, UCLA and the Arizonas, there might be a market to corner.
If you're on the same logic, why don't you just go ahead and say what you're thinking "Ohio State, Alabama, Clemson, Texas, Michigan and yewtah would be a killer package deal!"
Sorry Silly Swine Shipper, the market is speaking and Karma is coming.
