There is plenty of evidence that the PAC has seen its national prestige suffer this past decade. Utah is also a big part of that. Starting with the egg it laid against Texas, losing to BYU and SDSU, and as nice as Rose Bowls are it is important to win those games for national prestige. Particularly when a conference is trying to become more relevant.
