But BYU needed to honor Jim, and I think they tried to do that by inviting him back, but HOF is where he belongs. Rocky relationship, honor code violations, whatever...BYU owes McMahon for his play on the field. I believe it helped get the stadium expanded, and it paved the way in some respects for a national championship. Players fans and coaches realized what BYU could become in part because of McMahon's talent and fearless attitude.
