are elected because of of what they do on the field but they would never be on the field if they weren't students. I think that is part of the process and I have no issue with requiring graduation. Isn't that why most students go to college.

You want it to be only about athletics, I disagree and think graduation can and should be a part of the process. And I couldn't care less about what other schools do. We will probably never change either of us.
